ZEE5 has made the announcement that Gumnaam, a psychological thriller that is the Hindi remake of the successful Telugu film Rakshasudu, would have its international digital debut on their platform. Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran starred in the original version of Ratsasan, which was released in Tamil in 2018 and was the basis for this adaptation. The original film Ratsasan has also been officially adapted into the Hindi language in the film Cuttputli, which stars Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh and can be seen on Disney+ Hotstar right now.
The film Gumnaam, which was directed by Ramesh Varma and re-edited by Amit Khan, is scheduled to have its online streaming premiere on ZEE5 on September 2, 2022. Pen Studios was the company that created it. Arun, who is portrayed by Bellamkonda Sreenivas, is the main character in Gumnaam.
